Stuart S. has an extensive work experience in the construction industry. Stuart started their career as an Engineer Intern at The Shaw Group in 2008 and worked there until 2009. Stuart then became a Civil/Structural Field Engineer at The Shaw Group from 2010 to 2012. After that, they joined Chicago Bridge & Iron - Power as a Civil/Structural Field Engineer from 2012 to 2013. Stuart S. then worked at Lend Lease (US) Construction, Inc. as a Project Manager from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they are employed at LeChase Construction as a Senior Project Manager, starting from 2016.

Stuart S. began their education at Weddington High School in 2002 where they completed their secondary education. After graduating from high school in 2006, they attended St. Andrews Presbyterian College from 2006 to 2007, focusing on Mathematics & Engineering. Following their time at St. Andrews Presbyterian College, Stuart S. enrolled at North Carolina State University in 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and completed it in 2010.

In addition to their educational achievements, Stuart S. obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors in December 2017.
