Kathryn Taylor Payne has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Kathryn started their career at Brasfield & Gorrie, where they served as a Project Assistant/Intern, gaining valuable experience in processing submittals and compiling closeout documentation. Kathryn then joined KBR Building Group as an Assistant Project Manager, where they worked for four years.

In 2012, Kathryn moved to Lendlease and took on the role of Project Manager. During their time there, they were responsible for overseeing the R. David Thomas Conference Center Addition and Renovation project at Duke University.

Since 2016, Kathryn has been working at LeChase Construction. Kathryn initially held the position of Senior Project Manager & Higher Education Market Sector Leader, where they demonstrated their expertise in managing complex projects in the higher education sector. Kathryn has since been promoted to the role of Project Executive & Market Sector Leader, showcasing their leadership abilities and extensive knowledge of the industry.

In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in green building and design, such as G|PRO - Fundamentals of Building Green from the Urban Green Council in February 2015 and LEED AP BD+C from the GBCI in November 2009.
