Panagiotis Petropoulos has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Panagiotis is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at LearnWorlds since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Alpha9 Marketing GmbH und Co. KG for five years as a Software / Web Engineer. During their time there, they were responsible for developing and maintaining the Auskunft.de search engine, focusing on backend web development, REST APIs, data engineering, Elasticsearch, Redis, and web crawling. Before joining Alpha9 Marketing, Panagiotis worked at Nokia as a Software Engineer between June 2014 and September 2016. In this role, they worked on cloud-based Linux platforms for hosting LTE/4G network components, gaining experience in networking, Linux administration, OpenStack, Jenkins, C++, Python, and Bash programming languages.

Panagiotis Petropoulos earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, where they studied from 2004 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Advanced Informatics and Computing Systems at the University of Piraeus from 2013 to 2016.
