Heath Parkes has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Heath began their career in 2003 as a Sales Assistant/Assistant Manager at Dick Smith Electronics, where they managed a sales team and focused on consumer electronics. In 2009, they joined JB Hifi and held multiple roles, including Telecommunications Advisor, where they excelled in sales and account handling, and Software Advisor, where they managed stock control and provided sales support. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Mandoe Media as an Application Support Analyst, utilizing their skills in PHP, Javascript, MySQL, and bash to support in-house applications. Since 2017, they have been working at LearnUpon as a Customer Service Representative/Technical Support, where they use their knowledge of front-end and back-end web technologies to identify and resolve issues for clients using LearnUpon's Saas-based LMS. Overall, Heath brings a strong background in customer service, technical support, and application support, with expertise in web technologies and sales.

Heath Parkes obtained an Advanced Diploma in Professional Game Development (Programming) from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) RTO 88021, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Heath also completed a Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology with a focus on Game Development in Unity at the same institution in 2016. Prior to their time at AIE, they attended Corrimal High School from 1996 to 1999 and received a Higher School Certificate.
