Umut Çağatay has a range of work experience in sales and leadership roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Summer Research Intern at Coca-Cola İçecek, where they sought new customers, reported on sales activities, and assisted customers in using sales tools. From 2006 to 2009, they served as a Sales Enablement Specialist at Mobilnet. Umut then joined EF Education First in 2010, assuming roles such as Education Counselor, Country Product Manager, Indirect Channel Sales Manager, and Country Manager - Azerbaijan. At EF, they were responsible for various sales and management tasks, including launching new offices, establishing strategic relationships, and managing sales coordinators. Umut worked at Pearson from 2017 to 2018 as a Business Development Sales Lead, overseeing the creation of sales channels and the distribution of digital learning products. Umut then joined SchoolApply as the Director of Sales, International Student Recruitment, managing a team, strengthening relationships with partners, and overseeing student placements. Umut pursued an Executive MBA at Hult International Business School from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, they held various positions at Springboard, including Senior VP of Sales, Americas and Senior VP of Sales, North America. In these roles, Umut focused on improving language and behavioral skills in intercultural working environments and helping global teams thrive.
Umut Çağatay completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Hult International Business School from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University from 2002 to 2006. Umut completed their high school education at Ataköy Cumhuriyet Lisesi from 1998 to 2001.
