Joel Paz is a Learning Guide at Learnlife. Prior to that, they were a PHD Student at IRB Barcelona from October 2016 to November 2021, where they worked in the Laboratory of Microtubule Organization in the Department of Cell & Developmental Biology. Before that, they were at Universidad de La Laguna from January 2014 to December 2015, where they worked on a project with Dr. Laura Sayas on HDAC6 regulation by CLASPs proteins in neuronal cells.

Joel Paz has a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universidad de La Laguna and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same school.

Joel Paz reports to Stephen Harris, Co-Founder & Chief Learning Officer. They work with Devin Carberry - Director of Learning Programs, Adrià Balcázar Castell - Learning Guide, and Ana Aguilera - Learning Guide.
