Andrew Payton is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in learning design and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Learning Designer and Project Manager at LearningMate since October 2023, Andrew previously worked as an Adjunct Professor of English at Eastern Mennonite University, teaching College Writing II. Andrew's prior role at 2U included various positions such as Senior Learning Designer and Senior Course Developer, where responsibilities involved collaborating with faculty and leading course development for online graduate programs. Additional experience includes educational content development at the National Foreign Language Center and teaching English as a Second Language in Slovakia as a Fulbright fellow. Andrew holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Environment from Iowa State University and a BA in Electronic Media & Film/English from Towson University.
