Madeline Scott is an experienced educator and entrepreneur currently serving as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Astravo since July 2020 and as the herbalist and owner of Scissortail Apothecary since February 2021. With a strong background in education, Madeline also held positions as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Mid-Del Public Schools and a 4th Grade Teacher at Oklahoma City Public Schools, where served as FOSS curriculum chair. Madeline's involvement in the Young Democrats of America as Jewish Caucus Vice-Chair and South Central Regional Director highlights a commitment to civic engagement. Additionally, teaching Sunday school at Temple B'nai Israel/Emanuel Synagogue provided an opportunity to educate on Israeli geography, Jewish holidays, and civic topics. Academically, Madeline obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University and is currently pursuing further studies in herbalism at Wild Rose College and The Herbal Academy.
