Alexia Micallef Decesare has held a variety of roles since 2016. Alexia began their career as a Receptionist at Café del Mar in 2016, where they exercised good customer support and fostered rapport with returning clients. In 2018, Alexia held two roles as an English Second Language Teacher, first at IELS Malta - Institute of English Language Studies and then at Sprachcaffe Languages Plus. In 2021, they began their role as a Private Tutor at Preply, where they offer private tuition to students from a diverse array of professional backgrounds. Alexia is currently working as a Customer Success Associate at Leapsome, a position they have held since 2022.

Alexia Micallef Decesare has a diverse educational background. Alexia attended St.Martin's College from 2011 to 2016, followed by De La Salle College Sixth Form Malta from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained MATSEC A Levels + Intermediates. In 2019, they began their undergraduate studies at The University of Manchester, where they are currently pursuing a Politics and Sociology BA in Social Sciences. In addition, they hold three certifications: CELTA from Cambridge Assessment English, Spoken English Proficiency Test for Teachers from ELT Council, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from ELT Council.
