Pieter Zwinkels began their work experience in 2006 as an Investment Banking trainee at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Pieter then worked as a Vice President and later Director of Benelux Equity Research at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business from 2007 to 2012. Following this, they served as a Senior Marketing Analyst at Kempen & Co in 2012. In 2013, Pieter Zwinkels became the Investor Relations Manager at TenCate. Pieter then joined Philips in 2014 and held roles such as FP&A Director, PPA Treasury & Corporate Finance Lead, and Site and Operations Controller until 2022. Pieter Zwinkels was the Head of Finance a.i. and later the FP&A Manager at VanMoof from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they work as the Chief Financial Officer at LEAP24, a company that focuses on helping professional users towards zero emission transport.

Pieter Zwinkels attended Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from 2002 to 2005. Pieter then pursued a Master of Science in Financial Economics from 2000 to 2006, also at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additionally, Pieter Zwinkels obtained a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) degree in Management Accounting from the Institute of Management Accountants.
