Brian Van Rooijen is a backend development engineer at Leap. Brian previously worked as a DevOps engineer at vidaXL from March 2013 to July 2019. Prior to that, they were a php programmer at E-Difference from December 2009 to March 2013. Brian also worked as a trainee at ConQuestor from February 2008 to July 2008, where they researched ways to improve IT projects conducted by the Dutch government. Brian studied information engineering at Hogeschool Utrecht from January 2007 to December 2008. Brian also worked as a web developer at Sunworks Curacao from November 2008 to November 2009, developing frontend and backend websites and programs in PHP for clients in the Netherlands.

Brian Van Rooijen has a Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). Brian also has a degree in Computer Programming from Roc Utrecht.

They are on a team with Bertrand Laborde - Fullstack Engineer, Fina Wei - Backend Engineer, and Kristiyan Velinov - Data Engineer. Brian Van Rooijen reports to Albert Sikkema, Head of Engineering.
