Tilen Burjek is a Senior Software Engineer at SAP LeanIX since February 2024, bringing extensive experience in software engineering and development. As the Founder of ZAP Event since March 2019, Tilen manages nonprofit networking events for expats and internationals in Ljubljana, Slovenia, overseeing a team and facilitating weekly events. Previous roles include Backend Engineer at Bird Buddy (September 2021 - December 2023), where core contributions were made to system architecture and deployment, and Software Engineer at Zemanta, an Outbrain company (January 2020 - August 2021), developing high-demand API features. Tilen also interned in backend development at Car Target Group and Loop Email, and began a career in software development with KPMG Slovenija. Tilen holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Ljubljana and completed an exchange semester focusing on Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University.
