As an R&D Specialist at Leaft Foods, Andrew looks to bring his significant expertise and experience to solve tough technical challenges through the applied use of R&D.
Prior to joining Leaft Foods, Andrew was a Principal Scientist and Team Leader of the Protein Science and Engineering team within Callaghan Innovation's R&D Solutions Biotechnology Group. This team focused on delivering specialised R&D services and outcomes to a wide range of New Zealand and international companies in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical ecosystem.
Andrew has BSc(Hons) and PhD in Organic Chemistry from University of Canterbury and has undertaken Postdoc studies in molecular biology, protein expression, characterisation and analysis.
