Marta Sawicka is a highly skilled Senior Scientist currently working at leadXpro AG since October 2022. Prior to this role, Marta held Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scientist positions at the University of Zurich from November 2016 to September 2022, and was a Research Postgraduate at Imperial College London from October 2011 to 2016. Marta's expertise includes cryo-electron microscopy, protein characterization, and intricate biochemical analyses, particularly focusing on Mec1-Ddc2 complexes. Early research experience was gained during an internship at Heptares Therapeutics, where Marta worked on the Orexin Type 2 receptor. Marta's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Structural Molecular Biology, an MRes in the same field, and a BSc in Biotechnology, all obtained from Imperial College London.
