John Roberson III

John Roberson, III has a diverse work experience. John began their career as a Program Development Specialist at Emory University, where they managed a team of peer leadership consultants and facilitated workshops for student organizations. John then worked as a Graduate Communications Assistant at the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy.

Following that, John held the position of Sustainable Communities Initiative (SCI) Intern at The Coalition for Responsible Community Development, where they established arts and culture boards and contributed to community-focused initiatives.

John later joined the Los Angeles County Education Foundation (LACEF) as an Associate Director of Policy and Communications. In this role, they developed strategic communications and policy briefs to promote school-based healthcare centers and early childhood education.

John then worked as the Director of Digital Media at Reinvent Communications, where they implemented strategies for client-partners and managed digital media projects. John designed process improvements for various organizations and completed landscape analyses.

Currently, John serves as the Chief of Staff at LeadersUp. In this role, they manage the planning process, aligns resources, and coordinates business initiatives. John also previously held positions such as Director of Innovation, Innovation and Digital Platforms Administrator, and Senior Community Relations and Digital Media Manager at the same company.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and an ability to drive innovation.

John Roberson, III pursued their education with a focus on Public Policy and Environmental Studies. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Emory University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. Later, they joined the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2012 to attain a Master of Public Policy degree in the field of Public Policy.
