Cristina Diaz-Torres has had a diverse career in education and policy, starting as a math teacher in Clark County School District before moving into various roles in organizations such as Teach For America and Education First Consulting. Cristina has worked in different capacities such as a Legislative Fellow in the United States Senate and as a School Board Member in Arlington Public Schools. Currently, Cristina serves as the Chief of Staff for Partnerships and Infrastructure at Leadership for Educational Equity. Cristina holds a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from New York University.
