Santiago Alvillar is a dedicated and experienced individual specializing in arts leadership and engineering. As Fellowship Co-Lead at the Stanford Institute for Diversity in the Arts from September 2022 to June 2023, Santiago contributed to training and supporting undergraduates in utilizing the arts for social justice. Previous experience includes serving as a Training Tour Guide at the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts, where Santiago engaged visitors through historical art research and interactive curriculum development. As an Engineering Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Engineering, Santiago focused on developing a bioreactor through experimental research and mathematical modeling. Additionally, Santiago worked at Tacos Ventura from 2016 to 2019, demonstrating versatility in multiple roles, and attended the elite Yale Young Global Scholars program in 2018. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics at Stanford University, Santiago has a solid academic background from Pasadena City College and South El Monte High School.
