Dan Livengood MAS, ATM-S has over 30 years of professional experience in the promotional products and apparel industry. In 1990, they held creative development and marketing management positions in various agency- and promotional-themed organizations. In 2007, they became the General Manager/Partner of Spartan Iowa Promotional Group, where they developed an innovative business model that combined the promotional products and apparel industry with advertising agency products and services. In 2010, they joined Newton Manufacturing Company as a Senior Sales Manager for the Eastern Region and was later promoted to Senior Manager of Business Expansion and Professional Development. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President of St. Croix Promotions, where they developed an overall vision and implemented strategies for the financial growth and success of the organization. In 2015, they became a Senior National Account Executive at Business Impact Group, where they were responsible for initiating strategic individual and collaborative sales to retain and grow corporate accounts. In 2017, they joined 2020 BRAND SOLUTIONS as VP of Sales and Marketing, where they worked with the sales, marketing and creative teams to stimulate business growth through strategic planning, development and execution of national and international promotional advertising campaigns. In 2019, they joined Seven Corners Print & Promo as VP of Sales and Marketing, where they mentored and assisted a multi-generational salesforce to stimulate organic growth with additional focus on new business development. Currently, they are the Director of Sales at Leaderpromos, where they help support strategic sales growth and operational core initiatives in Emerging Accounts. Dan mentors, educates and coaches salesforce for continued personal and professional growth, and drives new business development and stimulates organic growth in existing accounts using new approaches, trends, streamlined protocol, processes and technology.
Dan Livengood's education history includes a Comprehensive Marketing, Advertising, Econ., Case Studies, Business Applications, and Business Mgt. degree from Upper Iowa University, which they obtained between 1993 and 1998. Dan also attended Lincoln University, where they received a Graphic Arts and Business degree with a focus on Commercial Art, Advertising, and General Business between 1988 and 1989. Dan also attended Newton Senior High School. In addition, they have attended the Annual National Leadership Development Conference for Servant Leadership Studies, the Dale Carnegie - Transform Your Sales Force Seminar at MSPBJ University, and several workshops and seminars. Dan holds a Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) certification from PPAI - Promotional Products Association International, a Competent Leadership Award from Toastmasters International, a Bachelor of Advertising Specialty Information (BASI) certification from the Advertising Specialty Institute, a Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) certification from PPAI - Promotional Products Association International, an MBE certification from the North Central Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC), and an Advanced Toastmaster Silver (ATM-S) certification from Toastmasters International.
