Daniel Akins is a seasoned professional in the live event production industry, serving as the Owner of Oval Theatrical Services, LLC since January 2014, specializing in various production services for live events. Akins has held roles as Production Manager and Technical Supervisor at LDJ Productions since 2010, as well as Shop Carpenter for IATSE Local 52 from September 2020 to January 2023, focusing on TV productions during the pandemic. Prior experience includes significant tenure at the Brooklyn Academy of Music from 2003 to 2020 as an EOS/ION Programmer, Electrician, and Stagehand, and as Freelance Project Manager at Bernhard-Link Theatrical, LLC from 1997 to 2020, where Akins managed technical production for fashion shows and corporate events. Akins has also worked as an EOS Lighting Console Programmer for operas at BAM and served as Ion Programmer for the Broadway revival of "Glengarry Glen Ross." Education was completed at Indiana University Bloomington.
