Michael Keeney-Robinson began their work experience in 2002 as a Customer Support Analyst at County of Riverside. Michael then worked as a Support Analyst Shiftlead at BT Infonet from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they joined Guidance Software and held multiple roles including Quality Assurance Analyst, Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, QA Supervisor, Principal Analyst, and Software Quality Assurance Manager. Michael worked at Guidance Software until 2017 when they became the QA Manager at CU Direct. After their time at CU Direct, they worked as a QA Automation Engineer at Entech from 2017 to 2018. Finally, they joined LCPtracker, Inc. in 2018 as a Sr. QA Engineer.

Michael Keeney-Robinson has pursued their education in various institutions. In 1990, they attended Mt. San Antonio College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies in 1993. Following this, from 2000 to 2002, they studied at ITT Technical Institute-San Bernardino, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science. In 2017, they briefly enrolled at UCLA Extension.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Keeney-Robinson has obtained certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In August 2019, they completed a course on Angular Template Design and Implementation through LinkedIn. Furthermore, they possess certifications in CompTIA A+ and EnCase Certified Examiner, although the specific institutions and dates of attainment are not provided.
