David Thomas has a diverse work experience, starting as a Systems Manager in the Pharmacy IT department at Aetna US Healthcare/Prudential Healthcare from September 1995 to May 2001. In this role, they directed development and maintenance for systems supporting dispensing, claim adjudication, and financial functions, implementing formal project methodologies to improve workflow and customer service. David also created a web-based solution for Physician Utilization Reporting, saving costs.

After that, they worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at St. Luke's Episcopal Health System from September 2005 to November 2015.

Then, they moved on to LCMC Health in April 2016 as an Epic Security Coordinator.

Most recently, David is happily retired since November 2018.

David Thomas has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Administration, with a minor in Computer Science from Louisiana State University. David also holds an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Houston Community College of Health Sciences. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute in 1999.
