Brian Smith is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in transaction advisory and credit underwriting. Since October 2003, Brian has served as the Managing Partner at LCG Advisors, a leading transaction advisory services firm that facilitates over 2,000 projects annually for institutional lenders, investors, middle-market businesses, and family offices. Prior to this role, Brian was the VP of Credit & Underwriting at Textron Financial Corp from March 1999 to September 2003, overseeing the Finance Company and Energy & Telecom divisions. Additionally, various positions, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Credit Officer, and Portfolio Manager, were held at multiple healthcare finance businesses from May 1995 to February 1999, focusing on providing senior and mezzanine debt to healthcare providers and lower middle-market commercial businesses. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Tampa, earned from 1991 to 1995.
