Jim Connolly has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology field. Jim began their career in 1989 as an Account Executive at IBM. In 1997, they held a similar role at Onewave Technologies and was also a Regional Manager at Automated Financial Systems, Inc. (AFS). Jim then moved to Warehouse Products Testing as President in 1999. In 2015, they joined Bright Horizons as Director of Procurement Services and then moved to Concord Foods as Director of IT and Director of Operations. Jim is currently the Director of Information Technology at LBB Specialties. During their time at Concord Foods, they managed a complete ERP system replacement from bid through implementation and upgrade to Sage X3 with MRP, finance, purchasing, and WMS modules. Jim also replaced the entire network, adding 3 wireless networks and 3 virtual networks, and moved the forecasting system to AWS with daily ERP updates. Jim also architected a front-end scheduling system for their ERP/MRP that led to a year over year reduction of 2,543 temp days and a 1-year ROI of 2,390%.
Jim Connolly's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston College Carroll School of Management with a concentration in finance, which they obtained between 1992 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Villanova University between 1985 and 1989. Jim also holds a high school diploma from Rivers Country Day School, which they obtained between 1981 and 1985. In addition, Jim Connolly has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn and PMI MassBay Chapter, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2013.
