David Vaisbrud has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Co-Founder & CTO at LayerX Security since September 2020. David has been responsible for developing their user-first browser security platform, which provides real-time monitoring and governance over users' activities on the web to protect enterprises from web-borne risks.
Before that, from July 2018 to September 2020, David worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MediaKind Global. David played a key role in the development of the product dashboard based on microservice architecture and modern web development technologies. David was also involved in the transition of their SaaS project from on-premises bare metal to a public cloud.
Prior to MediaKind Global, David worked at Ericsson as a Software Engineer from March 2017 to July 2018. During this time, they designed and developed a troubleshooting tool that significantly reduced production outages and was sold as a separate license.
Additionally, David has experience as a Team Leader & Content Manager at BIG IDEA - Israeli Summer Camps, where they set up their first summer camp outside Israel in Tenafly, New Jersey. David managed a team of 15 instructors and coordinated workshops on various topics such as Cyber, Programming, Robotics, and 3D Modeling.
Before their transition to the private sector, David worked in the Israeli Military Intelligence, serving as an R&D Group Leader from January 2013 to June 2016. David led the R&D team and commanded officers and soldiers. Prior to their leadership role, they worked as a Software Developer in the same organization from December 2011 to January 2013.
Overall, David Vaisbrud has a strong background in software engineering and has demonstrated their leadership and technical skills in developing innovative solutions across different industries.
David Vaisbrud pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification in "Advanced Kubernetes: 1 Core Concepts" from LinkedIn in June 2021.
