Ji Xin has worked as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Layer 6 AI and TD since February 2023. They were an Affiliated Graduate Student at Vector Institute from 2019 to January 2023 and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from September 2018 to January 2023. Ji Xin also had a research internship at Microsoft from February 2021 to April 2021 and worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Tsinghua University from 2016 to 2018.

Ji Xin's education history begins in 2014 when they enrolled at Tsinghua University. They pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and successfully completed their studies in 2018. Following this, Ji Xin continued their academic journey at the University of Waterloo, where they began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science in 2018. Their pursuit of a PhD is expected to conclude in 2023.
