Steven Horng, MD, MMSc, FACEP, currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Informatics at Layer Health, a position held since March 2023. In addition, Steven has been affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since July 2010, where roles include Director of the Machine Learning Core, Program Director for the ACGME Multi-disciplinary Fellowship in Clinical Informatics, and Attending Emergency Physician, among others. Since July 2012, Steven has also been an Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Previous experiences include serving on the Board of Directors for the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association and completing a residency in Emergency Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. Academic qualifications encompass a Master of Medical Sciences in Biomedical Informatics from Harvard Medical School, a Doctor of Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
