Zach Soflin, AIA has been working in the architecture field since 2010. In 2010, they began working as an Architect, Associate at BVH Architecture, where they worked on projects such as The Nature Conservancy Niobrara Valley Preserve, Haymarket Arena, and the UBT at the UNL Student Union. In 2014, they began working as a Lecturer at the College of Architecture at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. In 2019, they founded and became CEO of Layer, a project management tool for AECO professionals.

Zach Soflin, AIA, obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010, and a Master of Architecture (MArch) from the same university in 2012. In 2016, they obtained a Registered Architect certification from the Nebraska State Board of Engineers and Architects.
