Prashant Patil has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. prashant currently holds the position of EVP Manufacturing at Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the VP Operations at the same company starting from November 2016.

Before joining Laxmi Organic Industries, Prashant worked as the Site Head at Hikal Ltd from August 2010 onwards. prashant also has experience as an Operation Supervisor at Saudi Kayan from April 2009 to July 2010, and as a Production Supervisor at Saudi Kayan Petrochemicals during the same time period. In these roles, they were responsible for various activities related to plant operations, document control, training, and commissioning.

Prashant also has a significant tenure at Reliance Industries Ltd starting from September 2007 to April 2009, where they worked as a Manager. In this role, they oversaw plant operations, production planning, and cost reduction activities.

Earlier in their career, Prashant worked at Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd, where they held the position of Section Head, Manager (Production). prashant was engaged in handling projects, commissioning, and operation of specific plant units.

From 1990 to 2005, Prashant served in various positions at HOCL, including Plant Head, Manager, Assistant Manager, Shift In charge, Plant Engineer, and Management Trainee.

Prashant Patil pursued a higher secondary education at D S High School from 1976 to 1980. prashant then completed their HSC in Science from S I E S College in the years 1980 to 1982. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from KES Engineering College, starting in 1984 and ending in 1989. In addition, they also achieved a BE in Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University in 1989. Prashant Patil later pursued a postgraduate diploma in Materials Management from Welignkar Institute, completing it in 1991.
