Jitendra Agarwal has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the chemical manufacturing and packaging industries. Jitendra started their career at SSKI - Smith Newcourt as an Internal Auditor before moving on to Libord Finance Ltd as a Senior Manager in Merchant Banking. At Libord Finance, they obtained memberships for several bourses, managed IPOs, and facilitated loan syndication. Jitendra then joined Krishna Filaments Ltd as a Manager in Finance, where they successfully managed a Rs 115 Crore IPO and handled corporate finance, fund mobilization, and statutory compliance.
Later on, they joined Huhtamaki India Ltd as the Head of Strategic Sourcing, where they led the strategic sourcing function and managed negotiations for custom-designed packaging products. Jitendra also spearheaded global procurement worth €400mln annually for a European MNC. Jitendra further played a crucial role as the CFO and Business Manager of the Fiber Packaging SBU at Huhtamaki India Ltd, overseeing the acquisition and divestment of the company's fiber packaging business in India.
Currently, they hold the position of President - Essentials BU at Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd., leading the Essentials Business Unit with P&L responsibility. Jitendra manages the manufacturing of chemical products and oversees the company's wholly-owned overseas entities in the Netherlands and China. Jitendra also served as the President of the Acetyl Intermediates Business at Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd., where they headed a Rs 2,000 Crore business and was responsible for the overall supply chain functions of the company.
In addition, Jitendra Agarwal holds director positions at Laxmi Organic Industries (Europe) B.V. and Laxmi Speciality Chemicals (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.
Jitendra Agarwal completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from the University of Rajasthan between 1986 and 1989. Jitendra then went on to pursue a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, specializing in fields such as Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Taxation, Law, and Statistics, from 1989 to 1992.
