Nicolai Martovetsky has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and research and development. Nicolai started their career in 2007 as the Chief Engineer and R&D Manager for US ITER Magnet Systems at Lawrence Livermore National Security. Nicolai then moved to ORNL/LLNL as the Chief Engineer for Magnets, where they worked until 2016.
Nicolai Martovetsky completed their education at the Kurchatov Institute for Atomic Energy, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the field of Superconducting Magnets in the year 1985.
