Aidan Bassett is currently serving as a Voter Protection Coordinator at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee since August 2024. In addition to this role, Aidan holds multiple leadership positions within the Law Students for Climate Accountability, including Research Co-Chair and Media Co-Chair of the National Student Leadership Committee. Aidan is also the Managing Editor of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review and a Research Assistant at the Georgetown Law Environmental Law & Justice Clinic. Previous experience includes a Legal Intern position at Cascadia Wildlands, a Legal Extern at the US Environmental Protection Agency, and a Mitigation Research Assistant at the Georgetown Climate Center. Aidan's initial professional experience involved serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA Data Systems Analyst for the Santa Barbara Office of the Public Defender. Aidan is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at Georgetown University Law Center, specializing in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
