Beatrice Ngatcha is an accomplished Intellectual Property lawyer and registered patent agent with extensive experience spanning more than two decades. Currently employed at Lavery Avocats since September 2018, and Goudreau Gage Dubuc since June 2010, Beatrice specializes in patentability opinions, patent drafting, and prosecution both domestically and internationally. Previous roles include associate positions at Ridout & Maybee LLP and McFadden Fincham, alongside a postdoctoral fellowship at the Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences. Beatrice holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa and a Ph.D. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from Université Laval, supplemented with master's and bachelor's degrees in chemistry from the University of Yaoundé.
