Oylun Apak is a consultant at Laurel Research Consulting, having begun this role in January 2023. Previously, Oylun served as a Senior Research Consultant at Melian Dialogue Research from January 2022 to August 2022, managing research projects for public sector organizations including the National Library of Wales and the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Oylun's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication and Media Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Master of Arts in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from Stony Brook University. Oylun has held various roles in academia and research, including a Research Assistant and Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths, a Language Specialist at Booking.com, and a freelance translator and editor. A diverse skill set in research, content analysis, language services, and cultural programs is complemented by experience in project management and educational facilitation.
