John Poore has been working in the software development and consulting industry for over 30 years. In 2016, they began working as a Project Manager and Software Developer for Laurel Bridge Software, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager/Software Developer Consultant/Software Developer of CromanetCS for MeRP Associates, Inc. from 1991 to 1994. From 1994 to 2016, they were Technical Lead/Software Developer of CromanetCS for DuPont. Before that, they were a Development Engineer for DuPont from 1986 to 1991, where they developed software for consumable vision inspection systems and consumable manufacturing.

John Poore attended the University of Delaware from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
