Marc Malagelada has a diverse work experience in various fields. Marc started their career in 2001 as a Technical Systems Administrator at Universitat de Girona, where they provided system administration support and videoconferencing services until 2007. From 2000 to 2015, they worked as a freelance professional in the IT sector, specializing in small and medium-sized installations, client-server infrastructure, and networking. In 2007, they became the Responsible for IT and Communications at Escola Pare Coll Girona, where they managed system and server administration, software distribution, routing and VLANs, e-learning, and multimedia production. In 2012, they worked as a Professor, developing course content and generating practical activities for different institutions. In 2015, they joined Launchmetrics as a Site Reliability Engineer and later became a Computer Engineer Delivery Services IT Manager, working with Linux Debian servers, Amazon Web Services, and Perl scripting language. Since 2017, they have been working at Universitat de Girona as a Technician in the Office of University Business and as a Technical Practicum Technician, focusing on preparing students for employment research and managing internships. Additionally, they worked as a Delegate in Girona for COETIC, the Official Association of Technical Engineers in Computer Science of Catalonia.
