Caroline Paxton is a Mechanical Engineer at Launcher since November 2021, responsible for the design, simulation, and manufacturing procedures related to payload structures and brackets for the Orbiter project. Caroline has previously held roles as a Mechanical Engineering Intern with Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS), where leadership included managing a capstone rocket project, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium, focusing on system identification for satellite projects. Additional experience includes foundational roles with SEDS@UW and volunteering at the Advanced Propulsion Laboratory, along with leading rocket teams and tutoring in chemistry. Caroline Paxton earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Everett Community College.
