Carmen Whitfield is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Lauderdale County Schools in Alabama since August 2021. Previous teaching roles include time at Tharptown High School from August 2020 to January 2022 and Shoals Christian School from August 2017 to July 2020, where Carmen taught History. Prior to these positions, Carmen worked as an eCommerce Shopper at Walmart from April to July 2020 and as a Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA of the Shoals from May 2016 to July 2019. Carmen holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of North Alabama, completed in July 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in History from the same institution, earned in 2017.
