Zane Galinska is an experienced project manager currently working at Latvenergo AS in the Corporate Strategy Function since February 2018. Prior to this role, Zane served at the Ministry of Economics from March 2004 to February 2018, where responsibilities included planning, implementing, and monitoring EU fund programmes focused on energy and energy efficiency. Positions held at the Ministry included Head of the EU Funds Unit and Deputy Head of the EU Structural Funds Unit, along with a role as Senior Desk Officer. Zane's experience also includes a brief internship at the European Commission in 2005. Academically, Zane earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, and Business Administration from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola, followed by a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, and Audit from Latvijas Universitate. Secondary education was completed at Rīgas Valsts 1.ģimnāzija.
