Reza Azimi, PhD, is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in autonomy functions and system architecture. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Latitude AI since February 2023, Reza leads teams in various autonomy functions, including Prediction & Planning and Mapping. Prior experience includes leading engineering teams at Argo AI as Engineering Manager for Core Autonomy Systems, responsible for functional architecture and performance analysis across multiple locations. Earlier roles include research and development in automated driving at Ford Motor Company and substantial academic accomplishments as a doctoral student at Carnegie Mellon University, where Reza focused on the integration of autonomous and human-driven vehicles. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree from EPFL.
