Andrew S. is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in system design, optimization, and team leadership across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Latitude AI since February 2023, Andrew previously held a similar position at Argo AI, focusing on C++17 and Python, where significant contributions included deep system refactoring and workflow optimization. At Carnegie Robotics LLC, Andrew was instrumental in enhancing mapping and localization systems and co-authored two pending patents. As CTO at Hire an Esquire, Andrew built and led a top-tier engineering team while advancing the product towards modern web technologies. Earlier roles included developing protocol level software for UAV systems at RE2 Robotics and creating computer vision systems during independent contracting. Andrew holds a BS in Computer Science from Penn State University and has also gained experience teaching English abroad.
