Yuree Jang has a diverse work experience across various industries. Yuree started their career in 2014 as a Co-op Research Student at Chan Lab and then worked as a Research Undergraduate at Murphy Lab. In 2015, they were a Co-op Student-Computational Biology at PROOF Centre of Excellence. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Research Technologist at STEMCELL Technologies, where they developed cell separation products and trained new hires. In 2016, they also worked as a Barista at Blenz The Canadian Coffee Company Ltd.

In 2019, Yuree worked at Excelar Technologies as a QA / Software Developer Co-op, where they were responsible for testing a medical application on web and mobile platforms, as well as front-end development. Yuree used JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket in an Agile environment.

In 2020, Yuree had two work experiences. At Atomic47 Labs, they worked as a Full Stack Software Developer Coop, contributing to bug fixes, feature improvement, and new feature development in an agile development environment. Yuree also wrote new back-end unit tests. At Later, they worked as a Front End Developer Coop.

Currently, Yuree works at Later as a Front End Developer, starting from May 2021.

Yuree Jang pursued their education at the University of British Columbia, starting in 2011 and completing in 2016. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Microbiology and Immunology with Completion of Co-op Program, which lasted for 16 months. Following this, Yuree Jang continued their academic journey at the University of British Columbia from 2018 to 2021, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) in Integrated Computer Science (ICS) field. Yuree Jang also possesses a certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), without any specific information regarding the institution or the year of achievement.
