Kira Porter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kira is currently working as a Back End Developer for Later, starting in October 2022. Before that, they worked at Unbounce from December 2019 to August 2022, where they held the position of Backend Software Developer. Kira also had a role as a Junior Software Developer (intern) at Unbounce from September to December 2019. In 2019, Kira worked as a Freelance Software Developer. Prior to that, they worked at Heriot Bay Inn as a Head Server from January 2017 to September 2018. Kira also gained experience as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks from 2014 to 2016 and as an Acting Store Manager at Mexx Canada Company from 2011 to 2013.

Kira Porter obtained their first degree, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in English Literature and a minor in Classical Studies, from the University of Ottawa between 2010 and 2012. Kira then pursued further education at the University of British Columbia, earning another Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, this time with a major in English Literature and a minor in Classical Studies, from 2014 to 2016. In 2019, Kira attended Lighthouse Labs for a short period to study web development. However, no specific degree was mentioned for this program.
