Tahir D'Mello is an established bioinformatics professional currently serving as Lead Bioinformatics Engineer at LatchBio since June 2023, where responsibilities include building custom technical infrastructure and leading customer success initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as Bioinformatics Engineer at Flightpath Biosciences, focusing on biomarker diagnostic development for chronic Lyme disease, as well as a thesis researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, where research centered on gene regulation patterns. Tahir gained practical experience through internships at Clarity Bio Systems and Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, where algorithm development and data analysis played significant roles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
