Xavier Garceau-Aranda has a long history of work experience in the security industry. ⌨️ Xavier began their career in 2013 as a Computer Security Research Intern at Polytechnique Montréal. In 2014, they were an Anti-Virus Research Intern at Microsoft. ⌨️ Xavier then went on to become a Research Technician at IMDEA Software Institute in 2015. That same year, they were also a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at Polytechnique Montréal. In 2016, they worked as an Application Security Analyst at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) / InnoTec System, and as a Security Consultant at InnoTec System. ⌨️ Xavier then joined NCC Group as a Security Consultant in 2017, and was promoted to Senior Security Consultant and Managing Security Consultant. Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Principal Security Engineer at Latacora.

Xavier Garceau-Aranda completed a Bachelor of Software Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal from 2010 to 2015. ⌨️ Xavier then obtained a DEC in Sciences, Lettres et Arts from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from 2008 to 2010. In 2016, they went on to earn a Máster Universitario en Seguridad Informática from UNIR - La Universidad en Internet. Xavier has also obtained a range of certifications, including the Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) from Offensive Security in 2021, the Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization from Coursera in 2018, the Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) from Offensive Security in 2017, the Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) from Offensive Security in 2017, the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in 2015, the SecurityTube Python Scripting Expert from SecurityTube in 2013, the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) from CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation] in 2022, the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation] in 2021, the AWS Certified Security - Specialty (CSS) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, and the CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT Pen) from CREST - www.crest-approved.org in 2016.
