Prior to their time at LastPass, Dániel worked at GE Healthcare as a Lead Program Integrator, overseeing the execution and timely delivery of medical imaging software. Dániel managed three scrum teams and the core team, ensuring compliance with rigorous medical quality standards. Dániel also held the role of Senior Technical Project Manager at GE Healthcare, where they led software delivery for multiple GE internal software products, managing teams across sites and improving efficiency and processes.

Dániel Szaffner began their education in 2010 at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2016. During their time at Budapest University, they were also an Erasmus Exchange student at the University of Groningen, where they studied Economics & Business from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Dániel continued their education at Indiana University Bloomington, where they pursued management courses with a focus on IT Business Management. Dániel completed these courses in 2018.
