Pearl Aku Badu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Pearl Aku started their career at Ghana Grid Company Ltd as a Lands Assistant from October 2014 to July 2015. Pearl Aku then moved on to International Fertilizer Development Center where they worked as a Grants Assistant for Ghana & Nigeria from March 2017 to June 2018. Pearl then joined Plan International as a Grants Coordinator from July 2018 to July 2019. Pearl Aku later returned to International Fertilizer Development Center as a Grants & Contracts Specialist from August 2019 to April 2023. Currently, Pearl is working at Last Mile Health as Director of Contract Management starting from May 2023.

Pearl Aku Badu completed a Master's degree in Public Administration (International Development) from the University of York, from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Professional Certificate in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, from 2014 to 2019. Pearl Aku also holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014.
