Patrick Jenny

CyberSecurity, Certification and Compliance Lead at Lassen Peak

Patrick Jenny has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Patrick currently holds the position of CyberSecurity, Certification and Compliance Lead at Lassen Peak, where they create and implements critical programs to ensure security, safety, and export policies and standards are integrated into engineering design. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Entrepreneur, providing direction and feedback on technology market trends, with a focus on Cloud, Security, and Network areas.

From 2000 to 2018, Patrick held several roles at F5 Networks, including Sr. Vice President of Product Development and Vice President of Product Development. Patrick was responsible for F5 PD global engineering excellence and operations, overseeing core technologies, management products, content delivery products, and service provider products.

Patrick also held positions at FIRST Washington, serving as Board Secretary and Board Member since 2017. Patrick was also the Chair of the Partnership Committee from 2021 to 2022 and the Chair of the Development/Fundraising Committee from 2019 to 2021.

Earlier in their career, Patrick worked as a Software Engineering Manager at ShopNow.com and as a Product Development Manager at Wall Data. Patrick also held the role of Manager, Software Engineering at CyberSafe.

Patrick started their career as a Research Technologist II at Seattle Children's Hospital from 1987 to 1991.

Patrick Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington, which they obtained in the years 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they also earned another Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the same university, completing their studies from 1982 to 1986.

In addition to their formal education, Patrick Jenny has acquired several certifications. Patrick completed the "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera in May 2020, along with certifications in "Sequence Models," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Cybersecurity and Its Ten Domains," all obtained from Coursera throughout the year 2020.
