Before that, they served as the Chief, Securities & Health Care Fraud at the U.S. Department of Justice in 2007 and held the role of Partner at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP from 2002 to 2007. Erik gained experience in the government sector as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Criminal Division and Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from 1998 to 2002. Erik started their legal career as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from 1995 to 1998.
Erik Sandstedt attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1988 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Columbia Law School from 1992 to 1995, completing their Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a focus on Law.
