Joan Meissner is a registered nurse with extensive experience in various settings, currently serving as a charge nurse at Aurora Las Encinas Hospital since June 2019, focusing on adult acute psychiatric and chemical dependency care. Previously, Joan Meissner worked at Roze Room Hospice of San Gabriel Valley as an RN, BSN, PHN from September 2014 to June 2019, and held a position as a hospice field nurse case manager at VNAGLA from February 2010 to September 2014. Joan Meissner's earlier experience includes managing the Geropsych Unit at East Valley Hospital Medical Center for a brief period in 2009 and serving as a charge nurse on an adult locked unit at Las Encinas Hospital from 2002 to 2009, with the capability of writing 5150 and 72-hour holds. Joan Meissner earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University in 2012 and holds an Associate of Arts and Science degree in Registered Nursing/Vocational Nursing from Glendale Community College.
