Manager of Institutional Giving at Larkin Street Youth Services

Natalie Yemenidjian has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Natalie has served as the Manager of Institutional Giving at Larkin Street Youth Services since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Development and Grants Manager at Maitri Compassionate Care from 2021 to 2022, where they helped the organization reach its funding goals. Natalie also worked as a Freelance Journalist from 2010 to 2022, covering a wide range of topics. Natalie served as the Communications Manager at Community Initiatives from 2019 to 2020. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at KQED as an Online Producer and also as an Advanced Intern with KQED's Forum. Natalie gained design experience as a Pulliam Fellow at The Arizona Republic and Gannett's Phoenix Design Studio in 2012. In 2009, they served as the Program Director and Student Founder of Pierce College's online radio station, KPCRadio.com. Additionally, Natalie gained news reporting experience as a News Intern at KPCC - Southern California Public Radio in 2009 and as an Intern at the Los Angeles Times from 2008 to 2009.

Natalie Yemenidjian has a diverse education history. Natalie obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Colorado Denver, which they pursued from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University. Natalie'sBachelor's degree encompasses two fields of study: Print and Online Journalism, as well as Urban Studies and Planning. Before enrolling in college, Natalie attended Pierce College where they focused on Multimedia Journalism.

In addition to their formal education, Natalie has also obtained certifications to enhance their expertise. Natalie completed a Trauma Informed Care certification offered by the San Francisco Department of Public Health in July 2021. Furthermore, in February 2021, they acquired the Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management certification from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. These additional certifications demonstrate Natalie's commitment to continuous learning and professional development within their chosen fields.
